WHAT TO EXPECT
We are so glad that you are here. Whether this is your first time visiting or you have chosen to make Faith Outreach your home church, it is our desire that you experience God’s presence in a life-changing way.
Faith Outreach is a non-denominational, Spirit-filled, Word of Faith church. We began having services in 1999 and continue to see lives being changed by the miraculous power of God as people accept Christ into their hearts. We preach about having a spirit of excellence and being used by God to make a difference in the world around us. Our Mission Statement is Faith Outreach, a Church of Restoration, because we believe that God wants people restored back with Him. We have a ministry of reconciliation and teach that if you’ve made some mistakes, God is faithful to forgive you and cleanse you from all unrighteousness.
We are a church that is multi-racial, representing across section of society from rich to poor from all nations, bringing people to a place of maturity in their Christian walk. We have these three main ingredients always predominant in every service: Dynamic praise and worship, Anointed preaching and teaching, and Powerful demonstrations of the Holy Spirit. We are calling people in from the North, South, East, and West. We are calling in the lost and saved, the sick and the healed, the young and the old, the poor and the rich. We believe the blind to see, the deaf to hear, the maimed will be made whole.
We have ministries for all ages. A powerful Children’s program, a dynamic Youth and Young Adult Ministry, and an awesome ministry for our seniors. There is a place for you at Faith Outreach—a place to receive and a place to give! We invite you to explore the different ministries we provide and then pray about where God wants you to get connected. As you seek God’s will, He will reveal to you the place where you can become a part of this ministry. Growth comes from commitment. Get your roots down into this vision. The greater your commitment and dedication, the greater your growth and progress will be.
Let’s change the world for Jesus!
In 1999, Ranse and Tammy began Faith Outreach. The church was held on Thursday nights in a hotel banquet hall using a hotel room for a nursery. Despite their new mid-week service, pastors Ranse and Tammy continued to serve faithfully in their home church, International Outreach Church in Wills Point, TX. Each service, we set up/broke down the equipment and chairs, but the lord continued to bless the ministry. In June of 1999, Faith Outreach started holding Sunday morning and Wednesday evening services.
One year later, Faith Outreach moved to a storefront location where we were able to put an official sign up and develop ministries. For five years, we continued to expand in size and in vision. Six years later, the Lord opened the doors for us to move into a well-established church facility on the corner of Moulton and Division St. where we reach, teach, and connect with the community and surrounding cities.
Our first and greatest command from God is to love Him with all our heart, all our soul, and all our mind (Matthew 22:37-38). Ministry to the Lord comes before ministry to people. The “first love” is for Jesus. Praise is a calling given to every believer.
“This people have I formed for myself, they shall show forth my praise.” Isaiah 43:21(KJV)
It is up to the church to pray God’s will into the earth. Jesus said:
“I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.” Matthew 16:18-19 (KJV)
Jesus has given us the authority to release His will on earth through prayer. We as believers–the church–are to stop the works of the devil through prayer.
The church is a community of believers. It is a family–loving together and caring for each other. We are a body with many members (I Corinthians 12:12). Every member of the church needs the other members. God uses each of us to supply something to someone else.
The first believers in Acts Chapter 2 shared their possessions with one another. They ate together, prayed together and worshipped God together.
Foundational to all that is done in the church is the Word of God. The apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastor and teacher are given by God to train and equip the believers to do the work of the ministry (Ephesians 4:11-12).
The Word of God builds and equips believers to be and do what God desires. The vision of Faith Outreach is to constantly nurture believers until they grow into full maturity.
“Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.” Mark 16:15 (KJV)
The church is called to proclaim good news, heal the sick, deliver the oppressed, and set the captive free (Luke 4:18). We have the answer to the World’s problems and we must share Him. The purpose of the baptism of the Holy Spirit is the power to witness (Acts 1:8). All that we do in worship, prayer, fellowship and teaching is preparation for evangelism. God gave Jesus because He loved the world. His love has not changed; we are to go to the unsaved with this message of God’s love.
